Common Computer Issues - Slow Internet

When your Internet is being slow, it can be incredibly frustrating. We rely on the Internet to do so many different things today, from carrying out work assignments to paying our bills. Therefore, when the Internet does not run as efficiently as it should, it can cause our entire day to fall off track. 

When it comes to slow Internet, the first thing you need to do is make sure that it is the connection that is slow, rather than it being a website. Sometimes websites can be slow because of poor design, so if it is one particular website that is slow, this is probably the reason.

However, if your Internet is slow no matter what site you try to visit, there is a problem at play that you will need to resolve. 

One of the problems could be that there is an issue with your network provider. It is a good idea to take a look at the provider’s website and/or social media feeds so you can discover whether there are any reported problems with their service at present. 

In addition to this, you also need to make sure that you take the time to find out whether there is anything you are doing that is contributing to the issue. For example, where is your router currently located? This could be the reason why your Internet connection is so slow.
