Common Computer Issues - Computer is Slow

If your computer is being slow to load and use, it can be incredibly frustrating. Do you feel like you have to wait for an age for your computer to power up? Does it take several minutes for your computer to perform a task that should only really take a second? If this is happening, it is important to get to the problem of what is making your computer so slow so that you can rectify it as soon as possible. 

To complicate matters, though, there are a number of different reasons why you may be experiencing a computer that is very slow. This could be because you have too many visual features and special effects going on. It could also be because there are too many programs that begin on startup and also too many programs that are going on in the background. This is something you can easily change, and if you notice that your computer speeds up after this, you have found the problem.

Another common reason for a slow computer is because it has been infected with a virus or malware. There are so many cyber attacks going on today, so you need to make sure you have a good anti-virus and firewall program in place to protect your computer. You also need to update your operating system regularly, and if you fail to do this, this could easily be why your computer is running at a snail’s pace. These updates are released for a reason!
